I know it has been a looong looong time since I've shared a post, know that I miss you! I am working on some stuff, that I am really excited about and can't wait to share the news with you guys ! But it is still early to announce it so wait for it!:D
I've promised that I will write something about the VR and AR, so here you go:)
Why Immersive gaming? Because the year 2016 has to be epoch-making in terms of this particular technology. All of these tech companies are waiting for reactions and feedbacks of the demanding community of players. According to the preparations and planned releases of VR and AR tools it looks very promising so far.
Virtual Reality
Among the main headsets that are expected this year belong Playstation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. The new version of Oculus Rift 2 is expected to bring high-end quality. Playstation VR will be more available and it should be offered for a better price. Valve Company, that owns the HTC Vive flaunts, had launched earlier this year beta test function SteamVR Theater Desktop Mode that allows players to enjoy not just the VR but also the classic games in the tool.
Among one of the most discussed game that is designed for these machines and is supposed to come out in the first half of this year belongs to Minecraft. This game should be available for both platforms of Oculus. Minecraft principles will not change, it is still about the constructing, crafting, mining and materials... and running away from zombies and enemies. If you're still skeptical, trust me that under the personal supervision of a Doom creator and CTO of Oculus John Carmack this project must simply succeed.

Augmented Reality
Augmented reality, which is based on a direct / indirect view of a real world and is accompanied by digital information also comes with some news. Microsoft HoloLens project is designed to allow the connection of a virtual and augmented reality and is preparing for the release in following months. Sony is working on AR glasses SmartEyeglass and Disney wants to implement the browsing and reading of fairy tales into the reality.
As for the gaming, the one thing that caught the attention is Pokémon Go. Remember the cult games Pokémon Red and Green? Well, then you really don't want to miss it! The game should be released later this year. Pokémon Go should be available for iOS and Android mobile phones. The game is about catching favorite monsters using Pokéballs and it is going to be based on the gamification principles of mobile apps. You will have the opportunity to compete and offer or exchange / trade with other players according to the location where you are.
A lot of cool stuff are coming this year and I am really excited to play more after I finish my uni duties (Yeah, it sucks).
