The Witcher is not just a game, it is a great bundle of stories and mythologies. Before I started playing it, I read the whole saga. The story of Geralt of Rivia and Ciri is intriguing. When I turned on The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt video game, I was surprised by the world which in fact seemed as I´ve imagined.

I was caught by the real feeling of these stories. Although it is a fantasy, we can see there a lot of issues that are actual also in our normal world, such as racism, segregation, xenophobia or prejudices. Sometimes it was too real for me and I was wondering if it isn´t enough to have these problems in a real world. But ok, that is maybe my naive point of view. :D

The Polish CD PROJECT RED did an excellent job. It is a pure RPG and that is great, I love the focus on the story and the role-playing side of it. The world of the Witcher is large and I guarantee you, that you will not be bored with it´s graphics, the world is very colorful. What I always enjoy is when the sun is setting down and you are on the Roach´s back watching it as it would be real.

I love Yeneffer, even though she is sometimes very stubborn and problematic to handle, in her deepest thoughts she is selfless .... I believe her :D . She and Geralt are a great match and they work together like a salt and pepper. Not to forget Ciri, she experienced a lot during her early life and still she seems undamaged and very reasonable in her decisions.

Well, definitely read books, before you start to play the game. It will help you to catch the lore. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is a great choice for people that likes story-telling, fantasy and a beautiful environment. It is a perfect game for these winter days.
