Warcraft - Sylvanas Windrunner

I am a fan of the Alliance, BUT if I should choose some heroine from the Horde side it would be definitely Sylvanas Windrunner, the Banshee Queen. She is as a figure of WoW, misunderstood and with sad destiny.

Before she was caught by the tragic curse she was a member of the prominent family of Windrunners along with her sisters Alleria and Vereesa. She was a military leader of Silvermoon.

During the protection of the Silvermoon against the Scourge, she was fighting till the end of her forces and stood up to Arthas, the Lich King. That was her end of a Ranger in the forces of good. Arthas didn't spare her and cast her by a curse of a Banshee Queen. She was helpless and dependent on whatever Arthas wanted.

But after some time, Sylvanas found out that Arthas is losing his power and she is started to be less dependent on him. She had released herself and started with her own army of undead and became known as a Queen of Forsaken. this is a basic lore, that continues on. If you want to know more check this great video!
